1. Agreement and provider identity
By creating an account, purchasing a product, or using KaroGerman, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and any product-specific terms shown before purchase.
KaroGerman is the platform and trading name. The legal provider for a paid order must be identified at checkout, in the order confirmation, or on the invoice. If that information is missing, do not complete payment and contact hello@karogerman.com.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be legally able to enter this agreement or use KaroGerman with authorization from a parent or legal guardian. Provide accurate information, keep credentials private, and notify us promptly about suspected unauthorized access.
Student registration may be public. Tutor and administrator accounts are invitation-only. Accounts and permissions may not be sold, shared, or transferred.
3. Courses and learning services
Only descriptions, schedules, prices, and inclusions shown on the published product page or order confirmation form part of a purchase. Course availability, tutor assignment, class timing, and assessment rules may vary by product.
Progress indicators and practice feedback are learning aids. Completion of content does not guarantee a particular examination score, certification outcome, or level of language ability.
4. Live classes, conduct, and recordings
Join only classes for which you are authorized and use your own identity. Be respectful, follow tutor instructions, and do not disrupt, harass, record, rebroadcast, or distribute a class without written permission.
Where platform recording is enabled, the interface will request the required consent. A class may be unavailable for replay if recording was not enabled, consent was not obtained, or the recording failed.
5. Germany-support services
Germany-support modules provide preparation, organization, document review, messaging, and status tracking within the confirmed scope. You remain responsible for accurate information, deadlines, final review, and actions on external portals.
KaroGerman is not a university, APS authority, embassy, consulate, visa authority, VFS operator, landlord, employer, or regulated legal adviser. Those organizations make independent decisions and may change their requirements.
Never send an external-portal password, one-time code, payment PIN, or full card details to KaroGerman staff or through platform messages.
6. Automated tools and reviewed materials
Some features use automated tools for practice, organization, or draft preparation. Output can be incomplete or incorrect and must not be treated as an official decision or professional legal advice.
Materials intended for a high-impact Germany-support workflow are released only after the configured staff-review step. You must still confirm facts, names, dates, and official requirements before use.
7. Prices, payments, coupons, and installments
Prices are displayed with a currency before checkout. Applicable discounts are calculated from valid server-side coupon rules. You authorize the payment provider to process the confirmed amount.
An enrollment or paid entitlement is created only after confirmed payment according to the applicable product flow. Installments are available only when specifically shown and accepted; their schedule and access conditions form part of the order terms.
8. Cancellations and refunds
Refund eligibility is governed by the Refund Policy, product-specific checkout terms, work already delivered, and mandatory consumer law. Third-party, authority, examination, payment-network, or application fees may be non-refundable when KaroGerman cannot recover them.
9. Course content and intellectual property
KaroGerman grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use purchased or assigned content for your own learning during the applicable access period.
Do not copy, scrape, sell, publish, share, translate for redistribution, remove ownership notices from, or use course content, recordings, assessments, or generated materials to train another service unless law permits it or KaroGerman gives written permission.
10. Acceptable use
You must not:
- Impersonate another person or submit false, forged, or misleading documents
- Probe, bypass, overload, reverse engineer, or interfere with access controls or platform security
- Upload malware, unlawful content, or material that violates another person’s rights
- Harass users or staff, misuse messaging, or use classrooms for an unauthorized purpose
- Use automation to extract content or operate accounts without written approval
11. Suspension and termination
We may restrict or suspend access to protect users, investigate abuse, respond to payment reversal or fraud, comply with law, or address a material breach. Where reasonable, we will explain the issue and provide a way to contact support.
You may request account deletion. Closing an account does not erase payment obligations, completed transactions, legal claims, or records that must be retained.
12. Availability and third-party services
The service may occasionally be interrupted for maintenance, security, provider outages, or events outside reasonable control. Third-party services and external websites have their own terms and availability.
13. Responsibility and liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes a right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, KaroGerman is not responsible for decisions of external institutions or for indirect losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed.
Any monetary limitation stated in product-specific terms remains subject to mandatory consumer law, fraud, wilful misconduct, confidentiality duties, and data-protection obligations.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India unless mandatory law in your place of residence provides otherwise. Before starting formal proceedings, contact hello@karogerman.com with the order reference and requested resolution so the issue can be investigated.
Nothing in this section prevents a consumer from using a court, consumer commission, regulator, or other remedy available under mandatory law.
15. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms for future use when products, laws, or platform operations change. Material changes affecting an existing paid service will be communicated where required.
